The annual 2027 LZTA Meeting will take place Wednesday, May 5th – Sunday, May 9th at Ancient Yoga Center just outside Austin, Texas.

Teaching Zen as a lay person is a particular kind of path. You carry the lineage and the responsibility, and you do it inside a householder's life, often without a map and sometimes without anyone nearby who shares the role.

For five days in Austin, we'll gather as a small community of lay Zen teachers to practice together, learn from one another, and ask what it means to embody this role in this time and place.
